Overnight at Addo Elephant National Park- Don’t Miss Out

We saw almost all of the animals in the park the first day, giraffe walk the following day was fantastic! Overnight accommodations were superb and all guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

2 day Addo fun

Amazing two days! Freddie looked after us day 1 and made sure we had plenty of water as the temperature went to 49 degrees. Boat trip was really relaxing and we survived the walk up the dunes in the heat. The giraffe safari was amazing and got really close for some great photos. Day 2 Sidwell was our Addo Safari tour guide - he was epic and so good at spotting all the animals…..all round great trip!

South African Safari - Choose this one!

What a wonderful way to spend three days in South Africa. The amazing and personable Sidwell was our primary guide for an extended 3-day safari journey that took us from the Addo Elephant Park to the Bellevue Giraffe Walk and finished up at the Zebra National Park. Our guide Sidwell was knowledgable and helped make us all comfortable during our three-day trek. Bradley at Bellevue was equally able to impart his knowledge and understanding to us while walking within yards of giraffes. And Andrew the Cheetah Tracker at the Zebra Park was phenomenal. Accommodations were first-rate, as was the food and narration at each of the venues. Leigh, the tour organizer, was capable, responsive and flexible, as he was able to satisfy our multi-generational group, ranging in age from 8 to 77.

Brilliant Safari experience

We had a fantastic experience in Addo National Park. Our guide John was exceptional - knowledgable, passionate and hilarious, he made the experience. We saw loads of animals (Elephants, zebras, buffalo, cudu, baboon, hyena, a rhino and luckily a lion!). The accommodation was a delightful cottage just outside the National park and the Sunday river cruise was a great addition. Brilliant experience start to finish would highly recommend!

Amazing Addo experience

John was excellent. He coordinated everything for us and his knowledge and sharing facts pertaining to Addo, Port Elizabeth and South Africa was never ending throughout the time we enjoyed with him. John led us through Addo on day 1 and found every animal possible despite the intense heat. We saw, learned and experienced beautiful Elephants, Buffalo, Mongoose, Eland and many many more with the final and exclamation point of an up close encounter with the Dung Beetle. Day 2 was outstanding…. Hottest day of our whole trip and John and Afroventures found a way to accommodate us by giving us an unbelievable, up close and personal experience with Giraffes. We will never forget our encounter with George the Giraffe . Thanks John and thanks Leigh…. Afroventures outdid themselves.
