Join us on a thrilling 3.5-hour adventure that will take you on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Monument Valley, as we venture off the beaten path and explore the hidden treasures of Wetherill Mesa. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to hike through the rugged terrain and discover the ancient dwellings that were carved into the rocks centuries ago. As you explore these ancient ruins, you will also come across several secluded archs that offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Itinerary

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

We meet our customers in front of The View Hotel building, 50 yards west of the Loading Area, where we meet about 15 minutes before your departure.

Monument Valley – Highway 163 Scenic Drive

Experience a breathtaking drive as we depart the Tribal Park and head onto Highway 163 South. Your guide will offer detailed information about the monuments and buttes along the route. The journey to Mystery Valley will take approximately 30 minutes.

Mystery Valley

As we cross the cattle guard and journey past the local family homes, we find ourselves enveloped by ancient ruins and arches left designed by captivating petroglyphs.

Enjoy the scenic drive and ask your guide questions as they continue to narrate the tour.

We did three different tours. Mystery Valley. Guide was John. Sunset Guide was Yvonne Sunrise Photo guide was Harry All were tremendous and beautiful but very educational as well. Learned so much about the history of the land and the people who have stewarded it for 13,000 years. In particular if you’re looking to really improve your photography skills I’d suggest asking for Harry as your tour guide. He really knows his stuff!! Very patient as well.

the guide, John, was excellent. He new the history of these locations and adapted his tour to us. The 3.5 hour tour was just right. Enough time to see and photograph everything. The history and events explained by our guide was the highlight of this tour. My wife and I would recommend this tour to everyone.
