We experienced an incredible afternoon combining both plane and helicopter flights to the Tasman Glacier at Mt Cook. The unique dual-aircraft adventure offered two distinct perspectives of New Zealand's largest glacier and surrounding alpine landscape.
The highlight was landing on the glacier itself - a surreal experience standing on ice surrounded by spectacular peaks. Our pilots, Maurice and Mark, were excellent guides who shared fascinating insights about the geography and glacial features throughout the journey.
