The granite quarries which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. The quarries still hold the Unfinished Obelisk, possibly intended as a companion to the Lateran Obelisk, originally at Karnak but now in Rome. Third temple I visited but first time to understand that temples have sections e.g. main court, 2nd court, vestibule, sanctuary. This is a highly recommended trio. Beshoy, my guide was awesome

We very much enjoyed this day. Our tour guide Bob was knowledgeable and friendly, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time.
