day at the mekong

Duc, our guide, made the trip so fun and informative. He was so knowledgeable of every aspect of the trip. He was so attentive of us at all times and answered all of our questions. He even helped us with gifts for family members and had them delivered to the hotel while we were still on our trip. The wide range of activities on this trip was what we so much enjoyed. The market was busy and had a wide variety of goods. The scooter ride across the rice paddies was so very enjoyable. We haven’t ridden a scooter in so long. Then the farmer at the dragon fruit plantation was so very welcoming. The local family that made us lunch were very nice and the food was fantastic. The rice wine and whiskey that they had made for us was outstanding as well. Then we rode a boat across the choppy Mekong River, but it was still a very pleasant ride and normally not how the river is. Then we got in a canal boat to go inward to one of the islands. Once there we visited a coconut plantation and enjoyed some of the candy that they produced. Our driver was always waiting for us and ready to take us to our next adventure. The driver was very good in the chaotic conditions and during the rain. So Duc for sure was the highlight of our journey and would highly recommend this trip for anyone that wants to get away from the big city and enjoy the quieter side of Vietnam. Thanks again for a wonderful trip.

Great day again with this tour and be aware with snake drink as it was so heavy and some other herb shots. I did enjoy a good day with all activities and local weather too hot this time highly recommend this local services again Theresa and family
