Da Tong beautiful journey starts with morning pickup from your Beijing hotels at around 6:15am, driver will safely transfer you to Beijing North railway station. Take the early train G2529 ( 7:19-9:28am ) to Da Tong. Upon arrival, Da Tong tour guide and driver will on time meet you at the station lobby exit, there is only one exit at the same floor, heading to visit Yun Gang cave, undoubtedly it's the region’s most famous natural landmark. You will see has 1500 years old history from Bei Wei period statues, get to see one-kilometer-long 252 carving groups caves with 59000 buddha statues in, bigger size 17 meters high, small one only a few centimeters, especially the most famous 20th cave " Big Open Buddha " with exposing outside, the landmark of Da Tong, don't miss the treasure of ancient Chinese carving art.

After a simple famous Da tong delicious lunch, continue explore the amazing sights Hanging Temple, which is 70 kilometers distance from Yun Gang cave. Like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it was listed as one of the top ten dangerous buildings in the world on American Time magazine, attracting many foreign exploration friends come. Boarding on the top, explore the 1500 years ago, amazing for its half cave half wooden frame structure, like a paper cutting stick on the cliff's temple. Take the breathtaking and thrilling worth trip when you are at Datong, Your guide will use their informative commentary sheds light on the sights. The views were amazing. We took so many photos!. The food was very good. The tours quide Cathy and Jin was fantastic and the driver the same. I recommend this tour .

This tour was very well organized from pick up from hotel to the train station. When arriving the tour guide Gorge and driver were already there waiting for us when we got off the train. This tour was amazing. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing. Bring good walking shoes. Our tour guide Gorge was awesome, he also takes good pictures. Overall best part of china so far.

Cathy was fabulous in helping on all the details the same regarding the guide in Datong. A true experience of how beautiful and diverse China has to offer in terms of tourism. And now with the new high-speed train a very comfortable day trip from Beijing. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended tour. The assistance from Cathy since the purchasing, and even before, during and after the tour is valuable. Then, our tour guide Gorge provided us an incredible itinerary. The restaurant he took us for Lunch was amazing local food. Totally worth the price.
