Overview

Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby.  Take about 1.5 hour’s drive from Beijing City to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the trip, transfer you back to hotel.

A day on the Great Wall

Was picked up on time by a very friendly driver who spoke some English. He helped get tickets for the lift and helped with ordering lunch at a restaurant very near the park entrance. Afterwards we had a nice drive back.

Great Wall private transportation

There were several choices of agencies when looking at this trip, Jenny and Alvin were fantastic. I booked the trip the night before, Jenny was quick to send a note confirming details and information. The next morning Alvin was in my hotel lobby prepared. While at the Great Wall Alvin managed all the details and explained my options clearly. Once finished, he was already at the dedicated meeting point. Well worth the price

Mutianyu Great Wall Trip

Set off early in the morning. Our designated driver, Jack picked us up at the appointed time and along the way gave us a brief introduction to the history of the wall. Overall, a very pleasant drive to and fro Mutianyu. The trek from tower 14 to 20 was a little steep but the majestic view atop tower 20 made it all wothwhile!

Went with Ken to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and it was perfect! The Wall is beautiful and so historical. We got there early enough to miss the crowds, after a very easy drive, and Ken gave me the VIP treatment. He’s a native of Beijing and told me so many good restaurants and things to do. Really really fun to chat with him & highly recommend everyone book him!!!
