Scottish winter climbing was on my bucket list, and I traveled from Mongolia for this experience. I truly enjoyed the climbing and had unforgettable days with Elite Guides. Thank you!

Elite Guides were faultless through the whole process, from the start when organising the event with Scott it was immediately made easy and straight forward, he provided clear information and made sure we had the correct kit for the day. Elite Guides were flexible to our plans and were happy to start at 6am which is the time we requested. The main praise I have for them is that due to weather warnings the event came into potential doubt but they were still more than happy to attempt the climb. Our guide for the day was Lauren, she was really talkative and friendly throughout the day, she gave regular updates along the route letting us know how far we were into the climb, she provided great tips and also kit such as ice axes and crampons for no extra fee. She checked in on us through the climb making sure we were fine and weren’t carrying any niggles. The main reason I hired a guide was due to the conditions, I found the hike very challenging and I didn’t want to take any chances with the winter conditions. The reassurance felt by just having her there was a great help and didn’t once question my safety whilst on Ben Nevis. If I was ever going to use a company again these would be my first point of contact without any doubt! The weather was shocking but we still managed to make it to the summit despite doubt it may of not been possible, thanks to everyone involved we raised just short of £3,000 for charity.
