From sea level rising to the heart of the magnificent Southern Alps, this flight explores the awe-inspiring ice falls of the Franz Josef Glacier. See the stunning ice features, cracks and crevasses from above.  Your flight also includes a snow landing, an excellent opportunity to really take in the surroundings and breathe the clean alpine air as you get your feet on pristine white snow.  Climb back aboard the helicopter for the descending flight, landing back in the Franz Josef township.

Great expirience. We did the glacier walk, about 2 and half hours.All the team were great, cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable and positive. Happily recommend this to others.

Once in a lifetime amazing experience

This is a once in a lifetime experience. Organised and great communication from start to finish. We were lucky enough to not have our time slot cancelled or postponed. Tour guides were lovely and had a great chat about the area. Pilot also lovely and made everyone feel safe. Also happy to take photos and print some to purchase. Pictures don't do justice to the views. Amazing!

Great ride. Rich - the pilot - flew a safe and nice scenic route close to peaks and watetfalls, gave a good commentary about the glacier and even shared some technical info about the heli. The landing on the glacier was a nice addition to my glacier collection. And the ground team made sure all is also safe. 5/5
