Overview

Venture off the beaten track and explore the diverse Port Douglas region with Blue Adventures. Our tours have an emphasis on seeing wildlife and we spend time exploring World Heritage rainforest, cruising on a rainforest fringed volcanic crater lake and taking relaxing nature walks in some stunningly beautiful locations - all areas rich in native Australian animals. On tour we regularly see wild animals including kangaroos, platypus, emus, wallabies, tree kangaroos, lizards and prolific birdlife. * Please note that we require a minimum of 2 passengers to confirm a small-group wildlife and rainforest tour. If we do not meet minimum numbers we will contact you to discuss alternative dates or other our options.

Excellent tour giving us plenty of time to enjoy the animals and sights. We got a private picture with a Koala got to see kangaroos in the wild and feed Walabe’s by hand.

Chrissy was super informative and such a pleasure to be with. It was more like going with a knowledgeable friend than a tour guide. We saw and fed wallerbys, amazing walks and sights you should not miss when here.

Amazing Day of Wildlife!

We had the most incredible day. The wildlife viewing was amazing and the surrounding area was so beautiful. It was so special to see kangaroos and wallabies about. We went on a great boat tour by the tea house and heard all about the local history of the region. I’d highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing tour with Chrissie. She was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. The wallabies were so cute! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic way to experience the far North Queensland countryside and fauna

Fantastic day, with a ton of interesting sites. The girls loved feeding the wallabies and turtles. Chrissy was a delight and full of knowledge. Definitely not your average rainforest tour. We saw a bunch of great things today.
