Embark on helicopter tour of the Thousand Islands and get a birds-eye view of Boldt Castle. Itinerary

  • 1000 Islands Helicopter Tours

    Location of the 1000 Islands Heliport. Travelers will embark on their helicopter tour from this location. Features a welcome centre with ample parking for cars and larger vehicles, small gift shop, fully accessible washrooms and a spacious lounge.

  • Thousand Islands Bridge (Pass By)

    Fly over both the Canadian and American spans of the Thousand Islands Bridge that connect two nations and sees the safe passage of millions of travelers every year.

  • Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House (Pass By)

    See the world famous historic monument that stands as a testament to the love of George Boldt and his wife Louise; beautiful Boldt Castle on Heart Island!

  • 1000 Islands Tower (Pass By)

    See this unique landmark from the air - the 1000 Islands Tower observation deck that gives visitors a 360 degree view of the area!

Awesome helicopter tour.

The View's over the Thousand Islands was amazing. We got some nice photos and really enjoyed our flight. Our pilot Brianna was excellent and told us the history on all the different landmarks. She made the flight a lot more enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable of the area and a great pilot. Kouri's Kopters is a great company to deal with for the helicopter tour. Give them a five-star rating and would highly recommend going on one of their tours. We had clear skies and took in some breathtaking views that were truly awesome. Definitely looking forward to doing it again.

The best experience ever. I took my wife there as a surprise anniversary gift. Did the 1 hour tour and was amazed. The view was amazing and the instructor /pilot was very knowledgeable and pleasant to chat with. I highly recommend. It was a check mark off our bucket list. I will be going back for another ride.

Well done 1000 Islands Helicopter Tours! Everything about the tour was amazing. We were greeted, briefed on procedures, and then taken on a wonderful tour, with not only great views, but a steady narrative on the 1000 islands history by the pilot. He also pointed out the most important landmarks as we went along. I can't think of a thing that could be done better to provide a memorable event in our lives. The Boldt Castle and 1,000 Islands tour was, in a word, perfection. Here is what was so great about it: - The operation is full-service, accommodating, and very well managed (with a safety first mentality). - The staff members were cheerful and professional, the terminal was clean, and the grounds were well-maintained. - The weather was sunny and windless, which made flying "smooth sailing." - The safety briefing, which included entering and leaving the whirlybird as well as headphone usage, eased one's nerves. - Pilot "Cool Hand" Phil was knowledgeable and shared lots of information about the islands while flying slow, smooth and steady, and close to the castle and islands for breathtaking vantage points (without disrupting life on the ground). If you are ever in the Kingston/Toronto/Ottawa area, you should add this experience to your itinerary; it is definitely worth it!
