    Join the Sons and Daughters of Liberty and relive the night of December 16, 1773. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an interactive, guided experience where you will be a part of the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution. Board 18th-century replica sailing ships brig Beaver and Eleanor, and join the countrymen in tossing the tea into the sea! View the only known surviving tea chest from that fateful night, the Robinson Tea Chest. Transport back in time while viewing the multi-sensory film "Let it Begin Here", where you will be a part of Paul Revere's midnight ride and be placed into the battle where the "Shot heard 'round the world" was fired. Complete your experience with a stop in Abigail's Tea Room at the end of your tour to enjoy some tea time. MUSEUM CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS DAY

A great experience in Boston!

We had a great experience at the Boston Tea Party museum. My kids loved throwing the tea into the harbor. It was cool to see tea and a tea chest from the original Boston Tea Party. The experience is interactive and fun.

I had been wanting to visit this place and it was well worth the wait! The actors really made the experience enjoyable. Incredibly fascinating and historical.

Smiling the Whole Time

I've never had a museum that had me smiling and laughing the whole way through, but this museum did it. Every worker is dressed in old colonial garb and speaks to you in the way they did in the 1770s. As a lover of Boston history, seeing how seriously they take the role of immersing the crowd into the complicated history of the time was astounding. I've never seen such a well-curated historical experience, right next to where the real event happened, which really relics of the time and extremely knowledgeable staff. They even have a tearoom that offers the exact tea the Bostonians threw overboard back in the day! This was a highlight of our trip, and I could not recommend it enough!
