The tour was easy to book , well organised and the tour guide Pepe was great. The day started off as we were informed about our transport , we were out of the main area so had to pay a surcharge - however we were well informed of this before the day. Pepe picked us up and was great , the other members of the group were all Spanish and we were the only British. Throughout the whole tour however Pepe would translate for us and ensure we had just as good of a time. The tour around the park was lovely, ensuring we had an opportunity to see all the animals and a quick visit to the reptiles at the end. We also got to go on the cable car which was lovely. Pepe was very accommodating and even gave us some restaurant recomendations on the way around. It was good fun and the other members of the group were lovely aswell - despite us not being able to speak a word of Spanish! Thank you for the tour, it was great or what I should say is mucho gracias!

We went on a organised coach trip from the P&O cruise ship Britannia.it was a wet and rainy day but this did not spoil a wonderful day out . All the animals were in very large areas would not call them enclosures as they are so large. They all looked healthy and a great range of types. The cable car was really great even though it was raining the views are amazing as they go over the animals. Well worth the cost.

There are zoos and then there are zoos, this one is right up there, both in terms of animal care and visitor satisfaction. Absolutely amazing, totally undersold and very much a hidden gem. E were initially put off the place by the visitor information centre in Santander, far from encouraging visitors to the site, they actually tried very hard to put you off it. Glad to say we decided to go, and so glad we did. Yes, ideally you need a car as the hill you need to walk up at the start is enough to bring on angina but once you are at the top, it’s like being on the Swiss alps, breath taking! The views from the cable cars are something else and to see the animals below you without interrupting them, well, it’s something else. The whole place is a credit to those who run it and look after it could not speak highly enough, without doubt the best Zoo/safari/ nature reserve I’ve visited. Will definitely return, would love to see it in the winter. Congratulations to all whom play a part in making this possible

Enjoyable trip: fantastic scenery, loads of animals to see in natural settings. Our driver/guide Rafa was excellent. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable - he made the trip a special occasion and is a credit to the company.
