HIGHLIGHTS • You will cross the Hermida gorge by van • You will have the opportunity to take the Cable Car in Fuente Dé and go up to Picos de Europa at a height of 1.823 m • You will take lovely photos of the Picos de Europa area • You will enjoy free time to visit Potes, capital Liébana • You will discover the Monastery of Santo Toribio SUMMARY In this full-day excursion, you will discover the beautiful mountain region of Liébana. We will drive to Fuente Dé, where you will enjoy some free time to take the Cable Car to go up to Picos de Europa if you wish (entrance fees not included). You will also visit the Monastery of Santo Toribio, one of the four holy places of Christianity for hosting the Lignum Crucis. Finally, we will arrive at the village of Potes, the capital of the region, and considered one of the most beautiful towns in Spain for its cobbled streets, stone houses, and bridges. In Potes, you will enjoy some free time for lunch and shopping if you wish.

The visit to Picos was a nice contrast to the offerings of Santander, and Potes certainly earns its most picturesque town in Spain recognition ... in spades! Gabriela was very knowledgeable, patient and professional, and provided a highly personalized experience.

The Picos de Europa and Potes trip from Santander was fantastic. I was initially hesitant to book as I had never done anything like this, but it was one of the best things we did while in Spain. The whole trip was so easy and enjoyable. The guide was great, and gave us lots of information about all the places we saw along the way (in Spanish and English). He was also easy to get along, funny, and kept us on schedule. After the trip was over, I realized I left a bag at one of the locations and they contacted the cafe and picked the bag up for me on their next trip. Truly above and beyond, and it meant so much to me to get the bag back. We really recommend the trip and the guide!

The tour was great and got to see lots of sights. The guide was able to discuss in Spanish and English and gave us details to everything happening that day. Lots of driving so be mindful of this, but that is needed to get out to the sights ! Thankyou
