Overview

Join this 2-hour tour of the old town of Cadiz in small groups (maximum 12 people). We include entry to the Tavira Tower, where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the entire city, and we will enter its Camera Obscura with a specialized local guide, who will take you to discover the history of the city and how people lived in Cadiz during its time of greatest splendor. Immerse yourself in stories and legends from another era that will make your visit to the Tacita de Plata a unique memory and discover the importance of the city's towers and rooftops after the discovery of the New World. During our visit, you will see that walking through the streets is not the same as contemplating the city from above. You will see for yourself the secrets hidden in the rooftops of Cadiz, concluding the tour in one of them, where you can enjoy a complimentary snack to quench your thirst.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Alejandro, was excellent, friendly, and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this tour. If you're visiting Cadiz for a few days, I would recommend doing this on the first day, as you will get some ideas about where you want to visit.

Phenomenal views mixed with history and culture!

The tour was an amazing experience to see Cádiz from a different perspective. After, you see the city with different eyes! Alejandro showed us the many facettes Cadiz has to offer, explained interesting facts about history and culture and how it connects to architecture. The view from the Tavira Tower is phenomenal and it was great to have our guide with us answering all our questions! We ended the tour at another rooftop for a drink, again with stunning views of the city! I would definetly recommend the tour, in fact next time I will be in Cádiz, i would probably do it again!

Historical tour made fun

This tour is quite new and uses the Torres Tower to explain the significance Cádiz and the way merchants communicated with ships bringing supplies. Our guide Alex was fun and informative and we learnt loads about Cádiz. It was a personal touch to finish at a rooftop bar which wasn’t in the beaten trail.

Very enjoyable and definitely worth doing.

We really enjoyed this tour and it definitely enhanced our stay in Cadiz. Our guide, Alejandro, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his city and paced the tour well making us stop and look up and stop and look down. Cadiz is like a labyrinth and whilst it’s great to wander round and get lost there’s definitely an advantage to being guided around by someone who knows the city well. The inclusion of a drink in the rooftop bar at the end of the tour is a nice touch.
