En este tour pasearemos por los rincones más emblemáticos de Cádiz y te contaré la apasionante Historia que rodea a la ciudad más antigua de Occidente, amenizado con historias curiosas y anécdotas de la ciudad. A lo largo de estas dos horas aprenderás a identificar la casa de un cargador de las Indias, conocerás algunas joyas de nuestro patrimonio ocultas a simple vista y sabrás por qué Cádiz fue la única ciudad de España donde no pudo entrar Napoleón, ¡entre otras muchas cosas! Desde nuestro punto de encuentro junto al ayuntamiento, en la Plaza San Juan de Dios, déjame guiarte por nuestros 3000 años de historia de una forma dinámica y entretenida para que puedas conocer mucho mejor a la Cádiz de hoy en día y el papel protagonista que tuvimos en diferentes momentos de la Historia.

  • Cadiz Town Hall

    This is the starting point where we Will start with a short explanation about the History of Cádiz and the first civilizations living here.

  • Teatro Romano

    We Will visit the medieval area and the oldest quarter in Cádiz called "Pópulo" which was built in the XIII Century and where we'll find some important heritage such as the Roman theatre, the oldest Merchant's house and the Old Cathedral

    30 minutes

  • Catedral de Cadiz

    In this stop we Will see the main facade of the New Cathedral in Cádiz and you Will learn about its construction

    10 minutes

  • Mercado Central

    I Will show you one of the locals' favourite place which is the fresh food market. I Will take a time to Talk about local gastronomy and I Will give you a few recommendations.

  • Casa-Palacio Moreno de Mora

    We Will visit the Merchant's quarter, the most beautiful and luxury streets in Cádiz. You will learn how to recognize a Merchant's house and which is the use of each floor.

  • Monumento a la Constitucion de 1812

    Our final stop in Plaza de España. You Will learn about one of the most important moments of Cádiz, and why It was the only free city on Spain when Napoleon invaded our country.

The best tour to discover Cadiz’s history and get top tips about what to do in the city!

This tour was highly recommended on Viator and for very good reasons! Lovely lady, full of energy, who will deliver such great information about Cadiz, history and stories, anecdotes and great tips… the 2 hours flew by. Thanks to her for example , the next morning we visited the Roman theater museum that is totally free of charge.
