Overview

Your pirate guide will lead the group on a 2.5-hour walking tour through historic downtown Charleston. You will begin and end at a bar, each housed in historic buildings with their own unique ghosts and stories. Guests will have time to purchase and enjoy a delicious libation as the guide tells them all about the fascinating history of Charleston and some of its most famous and creepy haunted stories! Please keep in mind that there will be a lot of walking between drinks stops where your guide will share the haunted history of several landmarks along the way. Per city law, Alcohol must NEVER be taken out of the bar. *Tour route and drink stops are subject to availability. *All guests must be 21+ with Valid ID. Alcohol is not included.

This was an incredible tour. We wanted to learn a little bit of history on our first trip to Charleston but don’t love traditional tours and museums. I was a bit worried that it was 2.5 hours but by the end I wish it was longer it was so good! Kelly, our tour guide/pirate was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her - her knowledge, her energy, she absolutely made to tour for us! Kelly for president. We had an amazing time in Charleston but this tour was definitely a highlight. I would highly recommend this tour for something a little different and more personalized.

Great tour, Jo was phenomenal, she hits you with trivia every now and then and you’re awarded with “doubloons” (keep it trip advisor friendly). Jo is a investigator outside of the tour and she’s truly an interesting person, I wanted to ask her 1000 questions but she obviously had a job to do so 1-2 questions sufficed haha.

Fun Walking Tour

I knew from the minute I set eyes on our guide, Vannah, we were in for a good time. She was fun, spirited and very knowledgeable. She made the walking tour a great experience. She was very into the theme of the night and kept us on our toes with all of the great information she passed along, all with a passion for spooky heritage that was NOT over the top scary, which I would not have liked. We were a small group of six, so I feel like we really received Vannah's personal best attention. I would not hesitate to go on another tour with her and highly recommend it. Thank you.

The booze and boos tour (and Vannah) was great! She was so knowledgeable about Charleston and its ghost (and non-ghost) history. Learned so much and was a well paced tour. Would recommend.
