Explore hidden coastal gems near Puerto Vallarta on our full-day hiking tour. Led by a qualified guide, hike through jungle paths and beautiful coastlines to discover snorkeling spots and stunning beaches like Colomitos and Playa las Animas. This is Challenging hike with steep, rocky terrain through dense jungle and rugged mountain paths. Expect uneven surfaces, narrow trails, and demanding inclines. *Encounter a variety of reptiles, birds, animals, and plants along the way. *Enjoy picture-perfect hike without the hassle of searching with memorable highlights showcased along the way. *End your journey with a delicious meal at the best seafood restaurant at Playa las Animas, followed by a boat ride back to Boca de Tomatlan. Puerto Vallarta

*Meet at the romantic zone bus stop, our tour's starting point. Please wait for your guide there; don't take the bus on your own. We'll then follow the coastline to Boca de Tomatlan, a charming fishing village where our hike begins. *We offer convenient car pickup and drop-off at your preferred location for an additional fee. (Please check our 2 price options.)

Playa Colomitos

*Once in boca de tomatlan start hiking the coastline to colomitos the smallest beach in the bay. Beautiful, cristal clear water and white sand, where you can have a cerveza, snorkel and relax by the beach. There is the option to look at the secret waterfall. (Snorkel and life jacket provided) Following that, we'll visit the stunning white sands of Playa Madagascar, before continuing our journey to explore the other captivating beaches on our tour. Savor the pristine sands of Playa Los Caballos, indulging in refreshing treats like fresh fruit, coconut delights, or even a chilled cerveza at a local food stand right on the beach. Delight in this culinary pause before journeying onwards to the final destination of our beach adventure. (This is optional personal expense)

Playa Las Animas

End your hike at a seafood restaurant at Las Ánimas Beach, where you can enjoy a delicious seafood meal or a cold margarita. The area is perfect for families and friends, with activities like parasailing, banana boat rides, snorkeling, and observing diverse marine life, flora, reptiles, and birds. You can also relax and sunbathe."

Take a boat ride from las animas to Boca de Tomatlan where we are going to go back to Puerto Vallarta. (Boat ride included)

Truly a magical and wonderful day! We had a beautiful time and the beaches were surreal and our guide told us so much about the location, plants, animals and area. We were blessed to find this guide and this adventure! Would highly recommend. Plus the restaurant at the end was out of this world! Order the seafood tower!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable hiking experience, look no further than a tour with Emilian! My family and I were blown away by his expertise, kindness, and genuine passion for sharing the beauty of his local area. This tour took us to five stunning hidden beaches, each more breathtaking than the last. Along the way, Emilian gave us fascinating insights into local life, native plants, and wildlife, making the hike as educational as it was enjoyable. I highly recommend opting for the car pick-up and drop-off service. It adds a personal touch, plus you get bonus information and extra time with Emilian, who truly goes above and beyond to make the experience special. The hike itself was perfect for my family, but I’d rate it as moderate to challenging for some. Thankfully, Emilian offers thoughtful solutions for all fitness levels—like arranging a boat taxi from one of the beaches if needed, which is a fantastic backup option. At our final stop, Emilian recommended a couple of remote restaurants and even his favorite dishes. The fresh fish we tried was out of this world! He also made sure we were treated fairly at every turn, looking out for us as visitors. On the way back, we had the bonus of a surprise whale sighting, which made the day even more magical. Learning that Emilian recently started his own business after working for another company was inspiring. His determination and drive are evident, and I have no doubt he’ll achieve great success. If I could give him 100 stars, I absolutely would! Book a tour with Emilian—you won’t regret it. This was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had!

Great hike to get to the Beaches

We had an amazing hike with Emilian, our tour guide. He worked with our small group at curating our day hike. It was the perfect day, walking through about 6 beaches only accessible by hike or boat. Some of the most beautiful, clear, blue waters. He allowed for time to get in the water and enjoy the beach. He also acted as our personal photographer and took great pictures.

This tour offers beautiful, scenic views, and an escape into the beautiful mountains of Puerto Vallarta!

I had such a great experience! This excursion was everything I was expecting & more!! The tour is full of beautiful scenic views! My tour guide Emilian was the absolute best! He was very accommodating & helpful. The boat ride back to the starting point was unforgettable! Mountain & Ocean views! If you want to submerge yourself into nature, book this excursion!! I will definitely be booking this excursion the next time I’m in Puerto Vallarta.
