Topic Centro Internacional Del Titere de Tolosa

Tolosa, the former capital of the region and one of the best places to find raw products. After a short stroll through the village where we will come across many palaces and ancestral homes inside its old town we will drive through the Urola Valley and visit Mount Ernio, considered to be the balcony of the region and one of its most emblematic summits.

Santuario de Loyola

The Sanctuary of Loyola an imposing Baroque temple from the 18th century built around the birthplace of Saint Ignatius the founder of the Company of Jesus, the Jesuits, highlighting the basilica.

Playa de Itzurun

we will make a quick stop in Zumaia. The Basque Coast is an authentic natural paradise with treasures you won’t find anywhere else in the world. One example is the flysch of Zumaia that covers 14kms of a coastline, constituting one of the most prominent geological outcrops on the planet.

Getaria Fishing Port

Finally and taking a scenic coastal road we will stop in the charming village of Getaria. Despite being very small it has a well-deserved reputation for its grilled fish restaurants, the Txakoli wine and its two illustrious sons: the famous fashion designer Cristobal Balenciaga, and Juan Sebastián Elcano, the first man to circumnavigate the earth in 1519

My daughter and I had an amazing day with our tour guide. The tour was just us and full of fun and personal attention. Our guide was knowledgeable and structured the tour to exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend.

Andoni -Amazing Tour Guide in San Sebastian!

We are recently back from a vacation in Spain and our 3 days of touring San Sebastián and Basque Country with Andoni of Baskme tours was not only the highlight of this trip but every trip we have ever taken. If you are considering a visit, do yourself a favor and reach out to Andoni. From our first email communication, Andoni was a pleasure to work with, clearly knowledgeable about the region but also curious about our interests and needs, and passionate about planing a trip that would satisfy our 3 generational group. Before even meeting us, Andoni helped arrange accommodations and reservations and all of his ideas proved to be perfection. When we met him on arrival, our instinct to trust him with our visit was not only validated but exceeded our expectations. We did 3 tours with Baskme: San Sebastián and Pixto, Countryside and Coast and Bay of Biscay. Andoni shared his extensive knowledge of the region’s fascinating history with enthusiasm, unveiled the beauty of the region with excitement, and introduced us to the culinary delights at each stop with joy. He is kind, going above and beyond for us in too many ways and he is personable and funny, making the 3 days we spent together feel like a visit with a dear friend.
