  • Cu Chi Tunnels

    We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."

  • My Tho

    After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

Great day out to experience Mekong and Chu Chi

The tour guide Ni was excellent. Small group tour so worth it and a/c in the car soooo good! Driver was great too. Ni was very knowledgeable and friendly. Booking comms really good too.

Exciting tour with fun surprises

Bao was a very knowledgeable and humorous guide who made the tour experience to cu chi tunnels and Mekong delta a memorable one! The price for the tour was very reasonable considering that we got to try many new things like holding a python and interacting with honey bees. We also got to try a lot of local fruits which were tasty.

The tour was very well organised and perfectly timed. Our guide, Maximum, was very knowledgeable and amenable. He was able to explain all the history of the area in detail. The cu chi tunnels were the highlight of the trip, with their incredible history enhanced by Maximum's stories. I would definitely recommend. Mostly the tunnels if you're short on time.

Great experience overall! Our tour guide Eddie was knowledgeable, caring, and thoughtful! The tour itself of the tunnels was informative and very interesting. The Mekong Delta part was a bit touristy, but still concluded a fun day. All in all a very good trip and excellent value for the money!
