Itinerary

  • Cu Chi Tunnels

    8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

Fabulous family experience

This was great. I had an 8 year old me and the guide knew exactly what to do to make it work for him. It was both educational and an good physical activity. I can't comment for others fears but I'm a bit claustrophobic but there were enough options that you could do whatever you were comfortable.

Excellent tour. Our guide Bao was very informative and knowledgeable. One minor observation is we would have appreciated a bit more time to wander round the exhibits, we felt a little rushed at times. Would highly recommend this tour and Bao as the tour guide. Driver, Vim, also deserves a special mention. Gentle, competent driver.

The Cu Chi tunnels experience is incredible and to have a personal guide to ask all of the questions was amazing. Jen was amazing and took such good care of us and had so much knowledge. I highly recommend this experience.

We got to see and learn loads about the Vietnam war and details about the Cu Chi tunnels, plus door to door service making the trip easy for older family members. We cannot recommend this tour and our knowledgeable guide Kevin enough!

Our tour guide was Bunny and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. She made the whole trip thoroughly enjoyable for us and answered all our questions about the history of Vietnam. We enjoyed our trip to the tunnels and it was so comfortable in the limousine. We had a cool box with ice cold drinks and snacks were available to us. The driver was excellent and we felt safe on the journey. I would definitely recommend the VIP private tour as we avoided large groups and queues and was worth the extra money. I would highly recommend Bunny - she was brilliant!
