    Abydos is one of the oldest cities of ancient Egypt, and also of the eighth nome in Upper Egypt. It is located about 11 kilometres west of the Nile at latitude 26° 10' N, near the modern Egyptian towns of El Araba El Madfuna and El Balyana. In the ancient Egyptian language, the city was called Abdju. The Temple of Abydos is one of the most wonderful ancient Egyptian temples of King Seti I and his son Ramesses II. Perfect day trip to Dendera and Abydos Temples

The driver Mohamed was very friendly and the car was big and confoetable. The guide for Dendera and Abydos was very flexible and the guidance was very good and with very interesting information. I strongly recommend this day trip from Hurghada, the service was very good and both Temples deserve a visit due the magical atmosphere of both places.

One day trip to Abydos and Dendera

We customized our trip and they made it from Hurghada to Luxor. The temples are amazing, tour guide Hasan is very knowledgeable and patient. We are much appreciated for the street food, fruit and water. The driver Ahmed is also very nice and up on time.

It was an outstanding experience to see both Dendera and Abydos Temples with Adams.tours ! Be aware that it’s quite a ride from Hurghada (and bumpy at times) but seeing these marvellous Temples is worth every effort! Also our driver Mahmood did everything to make us feel comfortable and safe. Our guide Mohamed was knowledgeable and spoke fluent German - all in all it was a long day but an exciting adventure. If you want to see these Temples and want to do something not touristy/mainstream (we had the temples to ourselves practically) go on this tour with Adams.tours!
