Overview

On this tour, you'll be picked up at your place of stay and driven to El Yunque National Forest, which is about an hour from San Juan. You’ll experience El Yunque National Forest through the eyes of our passionate guides. You’ll be guided and listen to live documentaries about the cultural significance of this place to our Puerto Rican ancestors. This tour will give you a lot of knowledge about the importance of the tree species, wildlife, and mountain land to the people of Puerto Rico. The tour lasts about 5 hours from pick-up to drop-off, including driving time, three different stops within the forest, and a stop at a local place for souvenir shopping and lunch before making our way back to San Juan.

El Yunque Rainforest Tour - A Truly Memorable Experience!

From start to finish, the communication for this tour was absolutely perfect. Every detail was clearly explained during the reservation process, which made everything stress-free and easy to plan. We were picked up in a clean, comfortable van that even had cold water and thoughtful extras to keep us refreshed throughout the day. It was a great touch that really added to the experience. Our guide, Issac, was incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about both the rainforest and the local wildlife. He took time to explain the ecosystem, answer every question, and was especially caring toward the animals we encountered along the way. His respect for nature made the whole experience even more meaningful. Highly recommend this tour if you want a well-organized, informative, and immersive experience in El Yunque!

El yunque is by far one of the top three experiences you will have in PR . Make sure you go in the spring or fall since the summer is extremely packed and very hot. Take the time to enjoy the waterfalls and the hiking trails . They give life to the more than 200 species that are only found in el yunque !!

Isaac was amazing! Very nice and informative. Would recommend if you don’t want to do anything too crazy! +the place you go eat has really good açaí bowls!
