Rafael was a great guide. Picked up at local hotel. Drove us with commentary to observation tower and small waterfall. Then drove to Angelito Trail for a short hike (20 min or so), which isn’t too hard at all. I did it in Teva sport sandals. But would advise sneakers esp if it recently rained. Rafael provided some info about the rainforest. We then spent a little time dipping in the river (lots of rocks, so need to be careful! Esp with kids). Then hiked back to the van, and drove to Luquillo beach for lunch/souvenirs and beach time (chairs and umbrellas can be rented there).
The tour was a great mix of activity (sightseeing, hike, swimming and relaxing). The info was informative. Was doable with kids too (there was a family with kids 3yr to 5yr old, the younger one got tired on the hike).
I would recommend to other to do.
