From Yellow Fever and the toll it took on our city, to the famous Jackson Square and the establishment of La Nouvelle Orléans; from the history of enslaved peoples and their impact on religion and culture, to what makes the architecture in our city so incredibly unique; from our historical red light district, to the earliest notes of jazz. This tour will have you laughing and crying as you grapple with all that New Orleans has gone through to get where it is today. Great way to get some historical context for our visit to New Orleans! Graham was very knowledgeable and treated the subject with respect while still making it fun. He also gave our group some great food recommendations. This is a good tour we can highly recommend!

This tour is very aptly named! It's given from a huge history buff and meant for history buffs. I believe tour guide Graham tells you more detail, and better context, than you're going to get from any other tour, and I was enraptured the whole time. Takes you to a great bar and you'll walk away with lots of good recs for other places to go in nola and books to continue learning about the history. So glad I took this tour!
