IMPORTANT: TO BOOK THIS CHARTER, PLEASE SET THE NUMBER OF TRAVELERS = 1. YOU CAN BRING UP TO 11 FRIENDS WITH YOU! Discover the outer Hauraki Gulf aboard the 41-foot catamaran Pacific Star, with daily departures from Waiheke Island. Your charter is for exclusive use of the yacht with two crew (captain and host). We can stop at a pest-free island for a guided walk, plus you’ll have opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding. Our guide will help you learn about the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park, its islands and people. You’ll spot seabirds and may see dolphins, and even whales, as we glide along with the wind in our sails. This is the only day sailing trip offered in the outer gulf and departing from Waiheke Island. If you’d like to take the helm or help us trim the sails, skipper Bruce will show you the ropes. Your itinerary will depend on the wind direction and weather, so that we can give you the most enjoyable and comfortable experience.

Amazing Experience, would highly recommend

We had a super trip around Waiheke on the catamaran charter. Bruce and Barbara were fantastic hosts who took great care of us. They provided drinks throughout our trip, and Barbara prepared an amazing platter lunch featuring local produce. The freshly baked bread, salad, salmon, and cheeses were all absolutely amazing. Our trip took us around Waiheke Island and onto some pristine and secluded beaches which can only be accessed by boat.

What a great day with Bruce as a Great host. We could go where we wanted, had a nice lunch and a swim to a nice beach. The wind came up so we could actually sail which was nice of course Top day

What a way to start a journey in NZ.

We went on a private charter sailing cruise the first day we arrived from the US. It was a great entree to our vacation in New Zealand. Beautiful day relaxing on the boat and hiking through the bush. Perfect way to experience the gorgeous landscape and relax after our long flight. The captain and crew were wonderful helping us to learn about NZ. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch on board. Everyone throughly enjoyed our adventure.

Incredible day on the catamaran with Bruce

My wife and I had the BEST day out on the water with Bruce this February. We booked rather last minute, but Bruce and Gabrielle were incredibly accommodating and provided the absolute best experience. The boat is beautiful and very comfortable, Bruce was a great guide not only as boat captain of the catamaran, but also of the dinghy – make sure to ask him to take you into the cave at Otata Island (I think that was the one). The prepared lunch was also delicious and fresh, we were really impressed. All around 10/10, beyond worth it – it was our honeymoon and filled with great days, but this was and remains our favorite day of the trip!
