Great food tour with friendly caring guide

Our guide Giordano was excellent. He cared for our group. He had great English language and explained everything very well and he walked at a pace we could all keep up. He was warm, kind and professional. We sampled many things; our favourites were the Mercato Centrale (learned a lot about truffles from a shop keeper plus we sampled beautiful pasta); the most delicious thing was the gelato at the end. The tour went for 2.5 hours at least. Please tip tour guides for good service. We did because it makes a big difference.

Lorenzo, our guide was perfecto! This is such a fun way to see Florence and taste what it has to offer. Lorenzo’s knowledge of the neighborhood around Mercato Centrale and Florence, in general, can’t be beat. We returned to the bakery and truffle shop to get more. If I could give more stars I would.

We had a great guide Dela who showed lots of enthusiasm as she took us around central Florence. The market tout was my highlight but so was tasting all the local foods from local producers. Gelato at the end of the tour was also delicious!
