    1. Pulteney Bridge This is an architectural monument that you cannot miss. Built around 250 years ago, Paltney Bridge is in the heart of Bath. Similar to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, along the Ponte Paltni are a bunch of buildings that house shops. It is considered unique, so the best recommendation for city guests is to take a walk from the bridge and along the river embankment. 2. Bath Abbey (Bath Abbey) Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganized in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. 3. Green Street (Green Street) If you want to go shopping, Green Street is perfect for you. Yes, it's quite small in size, but the streets and surrounding areas are full of independent shops and stalls that call this area home. 4. Royal Crescent and the Circus 5. The Roman Baths (Tickets not included) 6. The Jane Austen Centre (Tickets not included)

  • The Circus

The Circus, originally called King's Circus, was designed by the architect John Wood, the Elder. Construction began in 1754, however Wood died less than three months after the first stone was laid and so his son, John Wood, the Younger, completed the design in 1768. The Circus consists of three curved segments of Grade I listed townhouses, forming a circle with three entrances. When viewed from the air, the Circus, along with Queen Square and adjoining Gay Street, form a key shape, which is a masonic symbol similar to those that adorn many of Wood's buildings. Self-guided!

Superb

The experience was exactly what one can expect from a day tour, a nice and funny guide, a reliable and friendly driver, a comfortable coach, and enough information about the places of interest. They also added a fun quiz on the way back with prizes, which was a lovely touch. I was very happy with this experience and would highly recommend it.

Great customer care

Long story short: amazing! Long story long: Ours was an unusual experience but I love the way the company handled things. Approximately 90 minutes after we set off from Birmingham we had a flat tire. We had to stop at the nearest gas station and wait for the repair guys to come and fix it. We didn’t know how much time it was going to take, and we were on schedule - entrance to the stones and some people (us, for example) had bought tickets to the Roman Baths museum with a fixed time slot for entrance. While we were waiting, the guide and the driver bought us all doughnuts and assured us everything will be alright. It took 2 hours for the repair crew to come and fix it, and we thought at some point we would have to cancel and go back to Birmingham. But no, we made it to the stones, and to Bath, although we had less time in Bath and it was closing time for many places - like the abbey and cafes on the bridge. Still, we had a nice walk and overall good time. I love how we were comped by the tour company: they reimbursed our Roman Baths tickets, refunded part of the tour AND gave us a free trip to Cotswolds with them for any date of our choosing - this is amazing! ALSO at the end of the trip there was a quiz with questions about the places we visited, I won a Stonehenge magnet. Yay :) Overall, amazing experience, great customer service, Anna, the guide, is very sweet, approachable, and a good organizer - she had candies for us, Stonehenge leaflets to peruse, and gave us lots of interesting info on the locations. I imagine things like a flat tire happen rarely but be sure that the company will handle any issues with customers in mind. I highly recommend this tour and Perlyny Tours to anyone!
