Overview

Discover Italy’s sublime Cinque Terre coastal region on a day trip from Milan. Renowned for its terraced landscapes and five cliffside villages – Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore – the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre is one of Italy's scenic gems. Head there in a comfortable coach and then ride a boat from Monterosso to La Spezia. Enjoy free time to explore and have lunch (own expense) before returning to Milan.

Borgo Storico di Manarola

Leaving Milan, you arrive directly at the Cinque Terre and via a scenic route on the coast you reach Manarola. Here you'll have free time to venture around the vineyards, stroll the piers where fishing boats line the shore or watch the locals and the tourists jumping into the sea from the rocks of the harbour!

During your free time, if you wish, you will able to explore the beginning of some of the trails leading inside the Cinque Terre national park.
Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Venere (Pass By)

From Monterosso you will start the final leg of your journey, probably the most inspiring, a 90 minutes boat cruise. The perfect way to admire the stunning views of the Cinque Terre and the delightful village of Portovenere from the sea. After this memorable experience, you will arrive at La Spezia where your coach will be waiting to take you back to Milan.

Nice day with an excellent guide!

The ability to visit 2. sites was appreciated. La Spezia, which we saw quickly on arrival, Manarola and Monterosso. The boat trip added a few more from the sea. We have had a great day, even if it was a long excursion, and the weather helping with wonderful sunshine! Just a note: it is unfortunate that, besides the nice geography of these villages, all there is to see are restaurants and boutiques.

Sara is a very knowledgeable guide, and she gave us lots of tips on where to eat and shop. The trip went very smoothly. I especially enjoyed her commentary while on the boat ride around Lake Como. Bellagio was a beautiful town as well!

Very well organised tour allowing you to enjoy the best of Cinque Terre by bus, train and boat. Free time is sufficient to absorb the atmosphere of the villages of Manarola and Monterosso.
