An intense day out in Emilia-Romagna, devoted to Italian culture and first-class engineering! Embark on this full-day tour from Florence to Maranello, birthpalce of a world-renowned Italian myth, the Ferrari. You will learn about the classic vehicle as you make your way through the exhibits of the Museum (available at an additional cost) and the countless dedicated stores surrounding the area. On the way back to Florence, your personal driver will stop at Bologna, where you will be plenty of free time to explore the quaint historic centre at your own pace. Hotel pickup and drop-off from central Florence with a driver are included.

Itinerary

Florence

To start your epic day, an professional private driver will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Florence in a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle. Enjoy the comfort of private transportation as you admire lovely views throughout the Tuscan countryside heading north, through the border to the region of Emiglia Romagna. You will reach Maranello in about two hours.

Museo Ferrari

Your private driver will drop you off in Maranello, where you will have free time to independently explore the home Ferrari S.p.A and the Ferrari Formula 1 racing team! Among the countless Ferrari stores in this town, make your way to captivating Ferrari Museum, where the motto, “Live the Dream,” welcomes you upon entering the building. Inside, you can find a treasure trove of Ferrari trophies, roads, and of course - cars! There is also an interesting reconstruction of the original office in which Enzo Ferraro worked in 1929. More recently, the museum also added a simulator, where you can experience the speed of driving a real Ferrari car! Discover the history of Italy’s great pride - Ferrari, in this unique museum. Entrance is not included.

Next, enhance your experience in Maranello by adding an optional test drive of your favorite Ferrari vehicle. Does it get any better than this? With the guidance of a Ferrari expert, you can zoom through the Fiorani Track just as the Ferrari racers do! Feel the breeze on your face as your dreams come true driving a truly beautiful Ferrari vehicle, engineered to perfection. Price is not included.

Bologna

When you are ready, your private driver will take you to the nearby city of Bologna. This medieval city is home to a vibrant array of cultures -from its historical wonders, to its young and intelligent students, to its unmatched Italian cuisine! Spend some time independently exploring the most famous sites of the city - Piazza Maggiore, Basilica di San Petronio, the Asinelli Towers, and the Fountain of Neptune. Then, after you are done wandering the charming streets, stop for a delicious snack of Emiglia Romagna specialties such as homemade tortellini, tagliatelle, mortadella, prosciutto, or Parmigiano Reggiano. When you are ready, your driver will be waiting for you to head back to Florence.

Piazza Maggiore

During your time in Bologna, Piazza Maggiore is a must-see! This is the beating heart of the city. Historically, this is where local merchants sold their goods in markets, and where the people gathered. Now, it is the most important square of the city, home to the enchanting Duomo of Bologna - Basilica di San Petronio. On the edge of the square, you can also find a great sculptural masterpiece by Giambologna - The Fountain of Neptune, a symbol of the city. Many of the most important historical buildings of the city are on the outskirts of Piazza Maggiore. With its stunning medieval architecture, this square embodies the essence of Bologna’s beauty.

alejandro was extremely engaging, very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour. Also since it’s a private car they will work with you to build your own specific itinerary. Worth the money.

Osvaldo was hands down, the best private driver we have ever had while on vacation. He was so polite, knowledgable, funny, and professional. We had a fantastic time on this private tour! Our driver/guide Christian was the absolute best! He mad the tour even better!!! The two factories are amazing! The simulator at the end in Maranello is a must for any tifosi fan!!!

Excellent trip, our driver Oswaldo was great and seeing the 360 year church in Bologna then seeing the Ferrari Museum and the Ferrari Factory was fantastic. I enjoyed the day.
