What a superb small, friendly company with such enthusiastic local guides, not only did we see fantastic sites we learnt much about the people as well with information on the past, present and future plans. Incredibly safe driver and found a great place for lunch complete with viewing window into cow shed

I cannot say enough about the fantastic treatment we received and the sights we saw on this excursion. We enjoyed every minute and cannot say enough about the itinerary, the guide, the thoughtfulness of the tour operator. We felt welcome and were treated well from the moment we were welcomed at the port. We saw waterfalls, mud fields, caves, visited a mineral bath pool,visited a hydro generating station operated by steam, and the divide between Europe and North America. What a full day we had. The itinerary was well laid out with enough time at each spot for health breaks, fantastic photo opportunities. The guide was wonderful with lots of stories of trolls, and local experiences. Thank you so much for a wonderful day. I hope to return one day soon. If you are in Iceland you must use this Company!!!

We arranged for two days of a private tours through Saga Travel. Our tour guide Mr. Torrodsen (I hope I got the spelling correct, never did get the hang of pronouncing his first name correctly) was fantastic. He had a very deluxe vehicle which was capable of going anywhere but we rode in great comfort. The guide was super knowledgeable and very solicitous in making sure we got as much out of the tour as possible. I chiefly wanted to do quite a bit of photography and he went out of the way to make that happen, bringing his own tripod for use and happily helping carry all the extra equipment. This guide was also just very enjoyable to spend long days on the road with, good sense of humor. Would highly recommend Saga travel who handled all our arrangements and especially this tour guid if you want a deluxe experience.

Our day with Jorn was amazing. We took our 8 and 15 year old children who where engaged throughout mostly because he was so friendly and full of stories bringing the environment, culture and Icelandic history to life. The scenery was stunning and whilst we felt safe, we were given space to enjoy the stops on our own too. Being a small tour and using Jorn's experience, meant we could avoid the crowds and he incorporated enough stops so that we were comfortable. We would highly recommend this tour and will be back!
