Palancar Reef

visiting the first palancar herradura reef where we will not only be able to see many large tropical fish but also coral reefs of different emblematic formations of our island where you can take beautiful souvenir photos.

The second place that we will visit would be the sky, a sandbank where you can also enjoy the wonderful starfish and take very beautiful souvenir photos.

To finish visiting the most famous sandbank of our beautiful island, El Cielito beach where you can fully enjoy our rich and delicious fish ceviche accompanied by seasonal fruit.

FOR PASSENGERS FROM THE CONTINENT: remember that this activity begins in Cozumel. We recommend arriving at the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal 45 minutes before your ferry departure so you can arrive on time. When you get off the ferry and go out onto the street, on the left side you will find a taxi rank. When you get on you tell the driver that you are going to Marina Caleta and they should leave them where we are. The taxi ride from the ferry terminal to Marina Caleta is approximately 25 minutes. If you do not show up on time, we will not be able to help you and we will not be able to provide you with a refund.
For cruise passengers: this activity follows Cozumel time, which is not always the same as your cruise time, please keep this in mind

The best Snorkling in Cozumel!

Barbara and Jose with Chivis Del Mar are the best!!! This is our second trip with them and it won’t be our last. My wife and I have snorkeled all over the world and chivis is the best. They are paitent and caring, and are flexible with the itinerary. Our kids love them and it’s been so much fun on our two trips. We can’t wait for our next Cozumel Snorkling adventure with Chivis!

This tour was amazing! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Cozumel! The Colombia reef was beautiful and we saw a couple of eagle rays, lion fish, a turtle tucked away and relaxing on top of the reef, variety of fishes and coral formations. Next was El Cielo, where the whole sea bed was studded with star fishes. The final stop was El Cielito, which is a shallow sand bank and the max water depth is knee deep to waist deep and sting rays just swim around you!!! Barbara and Jose were amazing! They helped us ease into the water and since we are not great swimmers, there is a orange float ring you can hold on to and Barabra pulls that as she shows you around the snorkel spots!!

We enjoyed a wonderful day of snorkeling on a private tour. Booking was easy and our guides were fun and accommodating. I’m a novice at snorkeling and my husband is an avid diver, and we both had a great time at Columbia and Palancar reefs and Cielo. The fresh fruit, home made ceviche, and drinks were plentiful and delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour!

We had a blast on this excursion while visiting Cozumel. It’s was perfect for our family we had private tour snorkeling two different reefs. Definitely a great option if you have someone who is not a great swimmer or can’t swim. They were amazing with helping my husband who can’t swim to get in and have a chance to experience the beautiful reefs. They offered drinks beer and had complementary fruit on board as well! At the end we even got the chance to see & purchase pictures and videos of our snorkeling adventure they were absolutely beautiful! I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a great private tour in Cozumel we will definitely be back!
