Welcome to the Home of Guinness. Located in the heart of St. James’s Gate, the Guinness Storehouse was once the old fermentation plant of the brewery where today, you can experience the history, heart, and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer. As you explore the space, find out what makes the brewing process so special, hear about the history of the brewery and check out the archive of award-winning Guinness advertisements on display. Your final stop is the Gravity Bar, where you can enjoy the perfectly poured, perfectly chilled pint of Guinness included in your ticket with panoramic views of Dublin city and beyond.

Visiting the Guinness Storehouse was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the history of Guinness came alive through engaging exhibits and impressive visuals. The highlight was creating our very own pint of “Stoutie” Guinness, complete with a personalized image printed in the foam—an innovative and fun touch! The creamy, perfectly poured Guinness tasted exceptional, with the freshness and quality only found at the source. The Gravity Bar offered breathtaking panoramic views of Dublin, making our pint even more memorable. Overall, it was a delightful blend of culture, history, and, of course, the world’s best stout.

If your in Dublin you have to visit the Guinness Storehouse. We did not pay as its on the dublin pass, which is well worth getting as it can save you hundreds, if you like visiting the attractions. From the start to the finish it explains the process of how guinness is made and you get to use a free ticket to sample a pint of guinness in the gravity bar which has spectacular views over dublin. There is a guinness souvenir shop to buy presents.
