A fantastic tour that greatly exceeded our expectations

Published on Feb, 2025

What a delightful day we spent with tour guide Joy! When searching for a guide to this historic city, I really wanted someone who is a Gyeongju native- and Joy was the perfect match! She and her family have been in the city for generations and she has studied anthropology, Korean History and English- a rare combination that provided a deep review of the vast historical and archeological sites in the city. Joy is also fun! We laughed so much! And ate delicious food, and drank the best coffee. We came away with so much knowledge and great memories of the Golden City. Joy is so proud of her hometown and it shows in her enthusiasm. In one day we were able to see the highlights of the city and learn so much. We are a family of Americans w young adults. Her English is impeccable. She was our favorite tour guide of our two week trip. Our highest recommendation! Thank you Joy!

Private visit of Gyeongju

Published on Dec, 2024

It was really great. Our guide Mimi shared her knowledge of the history of the region (and more generally of Korea). She was able to adapt her program according to our wishes. She drove us on board her spacious van on the route. We are really very happy with this family day and come back with lots of photos and memories. Thank you Mimi.

Joy is a 5 star guide!

Joy was so wonderful- extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions and taught us so much about Korean history! A highlight of our time in Korea- also directed us to other “do not miss” sights and gave great restaurant recommendations! Just a great friendly, fun guide!

Highly Recommended!

I was visiting Korea with my college friend and wanted to take her to a place rich in history so we decided on Gyeongju instead of Busan to spend a couple of days. We also opted to book a private tour as we wanted in depth commentary about the historical sites we will see. We were so glad we did! Lily was very knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the city and its history. She took us great photos, and was flexible and changed our itinerary based on our interests. Her English was great and we had no trouble communicating. If you want a great private tour, I highly recommend this one!
