Would give 100 stars if possible. We did the half day tour of Sete Cidades. The pick up was on time, we were greeted by Filipe our guide, who was so nice, interactive, polite and knowledgeable. We were paired with an US couple and had no issues doing the tour in english since we're native Portuguese speakers. The vehicle was in great condition, clean and very comfortable. Can only give Filipe amazing compliments, he gave us tons of info and we could see how passionate he is about the places we visited. Please make sure to show Filipe this review and tell him he made our trip an ever better experience. Will recommend Into The Wild Azores Tours to everyone.

Weather was not great (foggy early with some rain), but we made the most of it. Fransisco was the guide and very good. He was flexible with tour scheduling to make the most of everyone’s preferences and for when the weather was clearest. The views of the crater/lakes were amazing.

Philippe was a fabulous tour guide. He was able to answer all of our questions with his vast knowledge of the island. The tour was reversed by him due to him wanting us to see the sete cidades. The sun was out and what a beautiful view!!!

This tour was excellent and exceptional value for the money. Our guide Filipe was a wealth of knowledge who was born and raised in the Azores. Communication regarding pick up was excellent and on time. At the beginning of our tour when we reached the west side of the island, it was quite foggy and raining. Rather than stop at planned / scheduled look out points in the pouring rain where there was no view, Filipe drove past to get to somewhere where there was something to see. Of note, large group tour buses did stop for their scheduled amount of time even though there was no point. Further into the tour, Filipe noticed a break in the fog and rain so he herded us back into the vehicle and drove back up the mountain to an earlier area we had driven past so that we could enjoy the view. This flexibility saved the tour which otherwise would have been disappointing but obviously not something the company can control. We were on cruise ship and their tour bookings were twice to three times the price. When we return to the Azores, we will be booking again with Into the Wild Azores Tours. It was an excellent experience. Thank you very much to the company and in particular Filipe for showing us your beautiful island. We'll be back!

We booked our tour as the ship just finished docking and our guide, Joaquim met us 30 minutes later along with six other guests that booked. The tour brought us to several stops along the caldera from the top down to the small town including an opportunity for a coffee and restroom break at a small cafe. We also saw a bit of the small town and a neoclassic church. Our guide was very personable and shared his love and the history of his home area.
