We attended the Heineken experience first, and we had a great time. The tour was fascinating and full of information about the brewing of the beer. The guides and staff were very friendly and informative and were willing to answer any questions and there was plenty to see and do. The tour is not completely guided but there is staff all around the experience to help with information.
We then went on the canal cruise which was also very informative, with loads of information along the trip around the different parts of Amsterdam and we really enjoyed the whole cruise.
I have read the other reviews and I would suggest that you make sure you read the website and the ticket instructions before attending the Heineken experience and the canal tour. The Heineken experience is not skip the line and is self guided. You have to go to the ticket office stated on the website before going on the canal tour and book a time that’s suitable and you will receive physical tickets to show at the boat. We booked a boat time then went to the Heineken experience and then gave ourselves time to get back to the boat dock. The Heineken experience is a fair way from the boat dock and it would advisable to take a tram between them.
We would definitely use again if going back to Amsterdam.
