Ali is the best!

I cannot speak highly enough of Ali from What's In Italy Tours. What a wonderful person. We were supposed to arrive in Rome a day prior to our tour, but our flight was cancelled. We ended up in a mad dash on the day of, only to arrive late. BUT, Ali was the greatest of all time! Not only did he wait past the "grace period", but he went out of his way to find us & made sure we were able to access the Colosseum & Palatine Hill. So grateful for that lovely man!! He truly went above & beyond!

We only had time for a brief coliseum visit and this was great! Ali was organized and knowledgeable and we were able to visit at our leisure.

Magnificent. Hard to even imagine the glory of this spectacular piece of history back when it was being used.

It was amazing to get to see this magnificent ruin. We got the skip the line tour to get us into the Colosseum and that was worth the few extra dollars

Great option for independent exploring

This was a great option for us! We had been to the Colosseum and Forum before, on a guided tour, and wanted something more open-ended this time. This worked for us! We met Ali near the metro exit, and he walked us across the street to the Colosseum and gave us some interesting background about the sites. He was friendly and kind, and then we were easily able to enter to colosseum by presenting our printed tickets. We chose a late afternoon time, and walked around the Colosseum for a while before exploring the Forum. This is not a guided tour—but this was what we understood and what we wanted when we booked it.
