Overview

Kangaroo Island has plenty to offer everyone. Enjoy a full day out visiting a number of outlets on the island while taking in spectacular scenery along the way. Visit Clifford's Honey where you will learn about the Ligurian Bee, then stop next at the Eucalyptus Distillery to taste the local eucalyptus and enjoy some cider tastings. Head to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Enjoy wine tasting at Bay of Shoal Wines while taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at either Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafood or Cactus Cafe, before heading to Kangaroo Island Spirits to experience some award winning gin. If time permits, we will stop at one more winery along the way before heading back to your accommodation.

Pickup details

If picking up from hotels, all pick up times are 09:00am, if arriving on the day by ferry, pick up will be at the arrival time of the ferry. Please advise arrival time of ferry in your booking notes. If travelling from Adelaide, a return Coach & Ferry will have ... to be booked with Sealink (not included) but we can help organise that. The coach departs Adelaide Central Bus Station at 06:45am and connects with the 09:00am ferry to Kangaroo Island. You then need to return on the 07:30pm ferry to catch the connecting coach back to Adelaide. If you can drive yourself to Cape Jervis, please book the 07:00am ferry. Good wine and fun

Terrific day, we got to see a lot of places but never felt rushed. Saw how many products were made and did lots of good tastings. Cheryl, our guide/driver was very knowledgably about the area. Cheryl was friendly and made sure we had a relaxed and fun day.

This was a great experience. Our guide was lovely. He was spot on with working out our likes and tailoring the tour for us being we were the only couple on board

We toured with Lutz for the whole day. We were picked up right off the airport and Lutz made sure we visited our favored options. We visited eucalyptus and lavender farms, tasted beers, scones, had several wine tasting and even had bee honey ice cream. We stayed longer were we wanted to stay longer. My girls were interested more in the body products made with eucalyptus, tea tree oil and lavender. That's what a perfect tour for us was as a family. We recommend this private tour with Lutz where you get to travel at your own pace.

We booked last minute as we weren't sure what we wanted to do while in KI so the full day food and wine tour gave us the opportunity to see various parts of Kangaroo Island and what it has to offer and to be honest, it didn't disappoint! Our Tour Guide Lutz (not sure if this is the correct spelling apologies if it isn't) was fantastic, he was extremely knowledgeable and we never felt rushed. The Scones at Lavender Farm were superb, the Honey Ice cream is such a treat, Bay of Shoals was fabulous and Cactus where we went for lunch was superb! KI Spirits is a treat if you are a Gin connoisseur, I'm not but still purchased a bottle of Mulberry Gin which was pretty special. Overall, we had an absolute ball and would highly recommend this tour, it was just a perfect day

Interesting tour, we enjoyed all the places we visited. Our tour guide Luca was both very friendly and informative. The Lavender Farm has the biggest and best scones we have tasted. Great day tour .
