Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

Amazing Intro into K’Gari

Amazing tour! Worth every penny spent. So much fitted into a day trip. Dave was full of information, attentive and friendly. Even though the weather was a bit wet at the start, we still had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip to K’Gari

Sand island odyssey

Had a great time. The guide was very knowledgeable, and made the tour interesting and fun. The weather wasn’t perfect, but he organised it so we went to the lake for a swim in the afternoon when the weather improved.

Great tour of a beautiful island

Fantastic tour that takes you to all the key sites in K’gari (Fraser Island). Well organised tour from the on time hotel pickup, to the ferry crossing and the tour itself all in the comfort of a 4WD bus. Our tour guide John was knowledgeable, witty, charismatic and most importantly a safe driver. I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience!

Kieth was absolutely amazing! He really took the tour up a notch, making it super fun and full of excitement. His way of explaining everything about the island and its Aboriginal heritage was so inspiring—you could really feel his passion for K’gari’s nature and history. The tour’s top highlights were definitely Lake McKenzie, the shipwreck, and Eli Creek. Oh, and the buffet at the resort? Small selection but it was delicious. I’d highly recommend this tour—we had an absolute blast!

First of all, Keith was amazing. He really made sure everyone had a great time and is a very great and funny guy. The best tour guide so far! We saw a lot of beautiful and special places, especially the Lake McKenzie. The beaches were amazing and sightings just as good. Wish we had more time every place but besides that a very good trip. I would recommend it. Cheers and thanks from Denmark.
