You may also choose your drinks (Beer, sake & other drinks). Non-alcoholic beverages are also available. - Explore Kyoto, visiting popular spots as well as hidden gems. Enjoy the unique scenes of Nishiki Market, Pontocho, and Kiyamachi. *please let us know if there is any food restrictions about a week before the tour date. Excellent Kyoto classic food tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour of Kyoto! We enjoyed trying a few things fresh in the Nishiki market, and the multiple izakaya restaurants near Pontocho Alley. We sampled fresh seafood, a few tempura fried foods, veggies, tofu, chicken and even some delicious waygu beef. Our host Leandra was the best and shared some great stories about life in Kyoto and was happy to answer our questions or provide suggestions for food/activities. We had a great group of couples from around the world and made the night even more fun getting to know everyone. Highly recommend this tour early on in your stay in Kyoto!

Ninja Food Tours in Kyoto was an incredible experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The tour began with two delicious tastings at Nishiki Market and continued through three local restaurants in traditional neighbourhoods. The food selection was amazing—authentic local dishes that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. One drink was included at each stop, which added to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Our host, Leandra, was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fantastic local tips throughout the evening. A must for anyone wanting to explore Kyoto through its food!

Ninja Food Tour - Kyoto

The Ninja Food Tour in Kyoto started at Nishiki Market with a tasting of two local specialties. It was followed by visits to 3 restaurants in traditional areas, that included several typical dishes, and one drink was included at every place. We also got an interesting historical perspective on the city throughout the evening. Leandra was a great host — warm, well-prepared, and engaging. A well-balanced mix of food, culture, and atmosphere.

Our experience on the "Kyoto Foodie Night Tour" was unforgettable! Leandra, our guide, was super friendly and knowledgeable, leading us on an amazing journey through Kyoto's vibrant food scene. The small group size was perfect, allowing for great interactions with a diverse mix of nationalities. Leandra took us to izakayas (a type of Japanese pub) and the market, where we indulged in unique and tasty dishes paired with sake. Thanks to her guidance, we discovered types of food we wouldn't have found on our own. We even returned to one izakaya on the next day because we enjoyed the food and sake there so much! Leandra enriched our experience with insights into Japanese culture and culinary traditions, making the evening both informative and enjoyable. The price of the tour was worth every cent - actually yen - for the quality of food and unforgettable experience we received. This tour was the highlight of our Kyoto visit. For anyone who enjoys food, sake and Japanese whisky, the "Kyoto Foodie Night Tour" with Leandra is an absolute must!
