Overview

Wild Lime Adventures provides the only tour that combines an airboat ride in the Everglades with a tour of Little Havana. Two exciting activities in a part day! Enjoy both of these iconic South Florida spots and still have time to go to the beach! We will start our day with a narrated scenic drive to the Everglades. Your guide will identify the local flora and fauna and will inform you about the history of the Everglades and the current challenges facing this unique ecosystem. You will then take a 60 minute airboat ride out on the Miccosukke Indian reservation. You will learn all about their history and culture and will be able to explore a native tree island village. We only use small personalized airboats. NO cattle call airboats! After time in the "Glades", we will depart for Little Havana. Your guide will share the special history of the Cuban exile community. Take a behind the scenes tour of a cigar shop and enjoy some special Cuban treats. You will have an hour of free time here.

We will be driving a Sprinter Style vehicle with our company name "Wild Lime Adventures" on the logo. Wild Lime Adventures will pick up at hotels and vacation rentals and other locations in many Miami, Hollywood, and Ft. Lauderdale areas and neighborhoods. We also pick up from Port Miami. Wild Lime ... Adventures can drop off at Port Miami and Port Everglades. We can store your luggage on the van throughout the tour! We can drop off at Miami Airport and Ft. Lauderdale Airport. We can provide a convenient meet up location for anyone coming from outside our pick up areas, including those coming from the Keys, Homestead, and other south Miami-Dade County locations. We can provide a convenient meet up location for those coming from north or west of our pick up range in Ft. Lauderdale. For shared tours, we may not be able to pick up north of Sunrise Blvd. or west of I-95 in Ft. Lauderdale. We provide free luggage stowage. Some guests may decide to be dropped off at the airport, cruise port, or at a different location or hotel at the conclusion of the tour. There is no extra charge for this service, as long as it is within our transportation zone. We assume that guests will be returning to the same pick up or meet up location at the end of the tour unless they make other arrangements with us ahead of time. We are usually able to provide a broader range of transportation for private tours. The standard pick up time is about 7:15 or 7:30 a.m. However, we will message you the afternoon before the tour to provide you with the exact pick up time.     Pick up at your hotel and begin the journey out to the Everglades enjoying a narrated scenic drive looking for wildlife along the way.

  • Miccosukee Indian Village

    We will embark on a 70 minute airboat ride way out into the "River of Grass". We will able to visit two Native tree island villages and learn about the Miccosukee cutture and how they were able to survive in this harsh environment.

Great tour, informative guide

Our family had a great time on our tour. The air boat ride to the Miccosukee island, eating fried bread, and seeing gators and birds in the morning was both interesting and fun. The visit to Little Havana was also interesting, including learning the history of the area, how cigars are made, and enjoying an awesome lunch. Ryan was a great guide. He was pleasant, informative and did a great job connecting the natural area with the history of the native peoples and Cuban immigrants. Thank you, Ryan and Wild Lime!

So much of a tour is how good the guide is. Well we had Ryan and he was great! Knowledgeable, friendly, and just fun to be with. The boat ride was fun and the Little Havana was fantastic. We ate lunch and enjoyed some good Cuban food as well as toured a cigar shop. Would 100 percent recommend this trip.

We had a blast, Ryan our guide was super knowledgeable about everything we did. Elvis our air boat captain found us so many gators. It was super exciting and just an all around good time.

We modified our tour to include the winwood walls… we had a charming and extremely knowledgeable guide, in Ryan. Can’t rave enough about him. He tour of little Havana and the lunch was very good and personal! Loved every minute!
