Below we present a detailed itinerary so that you can fully enjoy your visit: Early departure from Cusco: In order to arrive at Machu Picchu on ... time, it is important to leave Cusco early. It is recommended that you get up around 3:30 am so that you can take a transportation from Cusco to the Ollantaytambo station, which takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. From there, you can take the first train at 5:40 am. Train journey to Aguas Calientes: The train will take you along the Sacred Valley to the Aguas Calientes station, which is the starting point for visiting Machu Picchu. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and is very pleasant, as you can enjoy impressive views of the Andean landscape and some Inca ruins. Upon arrival at the station, you will find your guide waiting for you at the door with a sign with your name. Bus ride to Machu Picchu: From Aguas Calientes, you will have to take a bus that will take you to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. The journey takes about 20 minutes and is very exciting, as you will see the impressive Inca city appear before your eyes. Guided tour of Machu Picchu: Once you arrive at the main entrance, you can begin your guided tour of Machu Picchu, which lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. The price to take the extra work into organizing the two trains two buses and two shuttles is worth it when you are knowingly going to be jet lagged tired and want to have it all taken care of. I woke up super early and i should have prepared a cap for the afternoon sun, the best cardio i had was doing the last 30 min of stairs like on level 3 of stairmaster with less oxygen that you are used to. Great guides! They know where to take pics and how to do it for you! Very educational on history and story of the findings of macchu picchu and bingon who stole artifacts and never returned them to the rightful owners now held in YALES basement archives...OVERALL breathtaking in both senses! come with your water and watch to time that you dont miss your train back! Lunch included which helps!

Amazing experience beyond words. I will say that the first tour guide was a no show and created quite a problem. Viatour made up for it and got us with a reputable and very competent group to still be able to make it on another day. In the end it was all worth it and will continue to use viatour

Our guide for the trip was very knowledgeable on the history of Machu Picchu and went above and beyond to get great pictures for all of us and took us to a very good restaurant after. Would recommend to anyone.

Yes we were sceptical, like many of you probably are too, all I can recommend is don’t be! These guys are excellent, not a lot of talk, straight delivery!! We were met in the city for a handover of our tickets and everything else we would need for the day tour of Machu Picchu. Everything went according to plan, and we didn’t need to lift a finger. It’s well worth it to use these guys as opposed to booking the million buses, trains and taxis you would need to get there. It’s almost the same price as you doing it all on your own, trust me it’s not worth the headache. We visited Machu Picchu today, July 22 and again, these guys were amazing. 0 complaints!! 5 stars.

Hot, wind, rain, cold and hot again. You can fell the energy and the power of the nature. Don't forget a light jaquet for all seasons or the only experience you will have is the Karate kid movie (put the jaquet, remove the jaquet...). Lol Enjoy. You will love it.
