Overview

A “boat safari” of about 8 hours, discovering the amazing biosphere of Sian Ka’an. In the Campechen lagoon you'll be surrounded by red and black mangroves, while you'll be looking for crocodiles, birds and even manatees. Entering the Ascension Bay, the challenge will be finding dolphins and sea turtles, swimming free in their natural environments. You'll see green and yellow brain corals, as well as purple fan corals by doing snorkelling on the Meso-American reef. Last but not least, you'll be amazed by the colours of the natural pools, where you'll be free to relax and enjoy this unique corner of the ocean.

  • Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve

    Come with us in a boat safari. You’ll be crossing lagoons and sea, circumnavigating the peninsula of Punta Allen. You’ll be entering the Reserve by passing under the Sian Ka’an arch in a minivan.After less than 10 km of a dusty road in the middle of the jungle, you'll arrive to our beautiful pier,at the beginning of the Campechen lagoon. Here you'll be boarding on a typical boat, where expert captains will be waiting for you. You’ll be taken up to the village of Punta Allen crossing mangroves canals, exploring unique places and looking for animals, such as crocodiles, birds and manatees.  Once you'll reach the typical fisherman village of Punta Allen, you'll get on another boat to start the second part of this thrilling adventure:you'll be surfing the waves looking for dolphins, you'll be racing with the sea turtles waiting to see them coming up to breath next to your boat, you'll be snorkeling on the second longest reef in the world.   • Punta Allen

    Lunch will be served in the exclusive restaurant Fisherman of Punta Allen, where from July till February you could eat not only a tasty buffet, but also some super fresh lobster, just fished!  Before going back to the lagoon pier where your captain will be waiting, you'll visit the village. A 15 minutes’ walk in a place where the people still live on few things, taking advantage of what they can find in the sea and in the jungle, far from the noise of the society.

OMG! Talk About a Birthday Treat!

Came to Tulum in March for a Solo Bday celebration (I'm very much an introvert). So I signed up for this because I wanted something beautiful to do on my birthday. To say I had an amazing time would be the biggest understatement of the year. My tour guide was Hilary from Italy. She was phenomenal and so amazing. Her parents were also visiting as well. Sian Kaan is absolutely stunning. We did snorkeling and looked for turtles, we even saw some dolphins on the way out. When we arrived for lunch, they found out it was my birthday and surprised me with a little bday treat. I loved how Hilary was educating the group about the ecosystem and how we can protect it, especially from harmful chemicals in sunscreen. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. There was also a family with small kids with us and they enjoyed it as well. I will definitely book this again when I go.
