we star in the city center , after that we visit the wine cellars one of the best in the city because was founded by a king , i taste 2 glasses of wine tawny and white , after that i visit all city with explanation in english.

Ok let me start that we paid 22 euro per seton to go on a sightseeing tour; a Porto wine tasting and a boat trip Today we used the first 2 parts tomorrow will be the boat trip. So far they delivered exactly what was announced. The “train” took us via a bridge that has a great view to the big bridge of Eifel. To the oldest port cellars in Porto. There we had a 15 min video explaining the history of Port. We then got a informative tour of the cellars ; who founded the company; why the cellars are in Porto and how Port is made with the difference of white/red and all the different types. Very informative. Afterwards the was a nice port wine tasting and no pressure to buy! The shop had fair prices. On the return trip the “train” took us along a lot of historic places. Looking forward to tomorrow’s boat trip!

Very nice and easy tour, give a good look to porto and on to the river and bridges. The wine tasting was amazing! Tours available at all languages. Recommend a lot!

Excellent value if a bit unsure what to do

For 10 e per person you can not go wrong. Yes the train is bumpy and the commentary at times was drowned out by passing traffic. You do get excellent views over bridges and on a hot or wet day works well. The wine tour is well presented in all languages. English no problem. When you arrive at wine cellar you are not told but get off and ushered in for a video show. End wine tour and taste buy a bottle overall a good tour and get the next train back to beginning taking in mire sights
