Shirley and Mike were the most wonderful guides and hosts whilst we were in Merida.

Do not hesitate to book if you are looking to learn about Merida. Shirley and Mike made the tour so special and we had smiles on our faces the entire time. They really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and have fun whilst learning all about the wonderful city of Merida, we can only say good things and a huge thank you to them both. The best tour we’ve ever ever done. Highly recommend!

Shirley and Mike were fantastic guides full of knowledge they were eager to share with our group. We walked around the historical center of town and visited a couple museums. We learned about local lore and history of the area and the people that make up this beautiful city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to gain more insight of the history of central Merida.

This tour should be a FIRST experience in Merida that can influence the rest of your trip! What an AMAZING experience! Mike and Shirley were extremely knowledgeable of the history of Merida and the Yucatán peninsula, bringing the modern day tourist excursion to a whole new level of understanding and appreciation! They brought out the stories with humor and honesty, playing off each other and our questions. They are enjoyable, insightful, and their experience is full of fantastic surprises!
