Best cable car ride

The best cable car ride ever. Great views and chances to take many pictures. Then at the top we had the best crispy chicken in the mountain cafe before making the trek up to the big Buddha. Fantastic views from the top and a great chance to see the Buddha up close. Then down the steps, not for the faint hearted and off to the monastery fantastic again and coming out we saw the serpentine prayer walk by thousands of followers in the centre square. Glad I went? Hell yes.

Your travel vacation will never be complete if you will not try Ngong Ping 360 cable car. It is the fastest way to go Ngong Ping village , Tian Tian Buddha .Booked 2 way regular cabin as i’m afraid of heights lol. They also make sure that safety is their number 1 priority. and most specially the amazing view of Hong kong.

Amazing...but defo go early

The cable car ride is breathtaking, absolutely amazing. The big Buddha and surrounding area is good for photo opportunities. We arrived at ten o'clock on a Sunday morning and we virtually walked onto cable car. But when we arrived back at the start about 12 the wait and queue was absolutely massive, I would say atleazr two hour wait. They also don't tell you the wait time. I loved this but would never wait in that queue....so go as early as possible!!!

Bought tickets from Klook around 1 week in advance . The package contains return trip and 3GB eSim (worth 46HKD) FREE! Do try to start your journey like 930am and return by 12pm if you wish to avoid long q (see photo) . Overall ticketing from Klook was super , easy to use and the QR ticket was super friendly and easy to use.

Ngong Ping was a unique experience. The journey up felt like an escape from the city, and the Big Buddha was even more impressive in person. The quiet trails and serene atmosphere made it a refreshing and memorable day trip.
