When darkness falls, the lights rise. And the capital city sparkles. This private evening tour combines the modern and traditional in a memorable three hours. We start with the popular night market at Wangfujing Street, a pedestrian-only zone. Good place for a snack. Are you brave enough to try delicacies like roasted centipede, grilled grasshopper, or spicy spider? Next we visit Yandaixiejie Street, deep in the protected old city. About a 5 minute walk away is Houhai Lake in the Shichahai neighborhood, Amid the ancient city find an enchanting nightlife: cafes, bars, teahouses and restaurants, some that stay open until 2:00 am. Next you'll see from the comfort of your private car two of the city's brightest lanterns: the Bird's Nest, where opening ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics took place, and the colorful Water Cube. Night rain doesn't stop people to go out. Me neither. Mark - the tourist guide - pick up me at the hotel's lobby. Because my hotel is far distance to downtown area. On the road to Hutong street food valley, Mark introduces some sightseeing and their background. The night look is different. For this "night life of Beijing mini group" tour-> we don't enter those places such as tianmen square, bird nest, china world tower, etc. If you want to enter, Mark also has another day-tour version. Next is finding the parking slot. We have a walk together -> go to the Hutong valley -> go through some street foods shops -> arrive at one entrance of tianmen square. And then, we head back to my hotel. Some tall business buildings have the light on -> similar situation with New York City but Beijing china downtown here-> it gives the feeling of WIDER about distance. New York City... aigoo~ car traffic, human traffic, buildings... are much intensive! ( I personally experience the traffic jam at NYC because I drove there a few times)
