Itinerary

Cooroy

Your journey begins with a short scenic drive to our first stop in Cooroy, where you will be guided on a heritage, art and culture walk. You will then have some time to explore the village, which could include the Butter Factory Arts Centre exhibits, or maybe a coffee at one of the local coffee shops.

Pomona

A lovely country drive will then land us in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland, Pomona, for a gourmet lunch made with local produce at the local’s favourite restaurant. A drink is also included. After lunch, use your free time in Pomona to explore the streets, local art gallery or maybe settle in for a gin tasting at the local gin distillery.

Tewantin National Park

A scenic drive to a secret lookout will give us a panoramic view of the Noosa Everglades, hinterland, coastline and beyond.

Lake Cootharaba

We will then arrive alongside the picturesque Lake Cootharaba, the biggest lake in the Noosa Everglades. Here you will enjoy the tranquility and be taken on a guided lakeside walk.

Kin Kin

A lovely country drive will then land us in Kin Kin, deep in the Noosa Hinterland, where you will been shown through this lovely little village, including a refreshing drink at a 100+ year old historical hotel, and on the odd occasion have the chance to purchase locally made art & craft at the unique town gift store.

From Kin Kin we continue our country drive through the scenic Kin Kin ranges to the where the afternoon delves into a mead tasting at a beautiful local estate, where the mead-making has been in this family for 3 generations. [Mead tastings are not available on our Sunday tour and replaced with a drink at an equally amazing hinterland craft brewery]. On our way home we’ll pick up our everglades tour guests before dropping you directly at your accommodation in time for sunset and dinner.

Fun and relaxing

Joel, our guide was very nice and informative. We heard a lot of great stories about the locations we visited. Lunch at one of the local restaurants was good as well we had plenty of time to see the sights and do some shopping.

We had a great day travelling with Joel. We also travelled with him for the Australia Zoo entry and transfer. He was courteous and friendly with a big smile, very knowledgeable and informative. Very flexible and easy paced tour and not rushed. The morning tea stop is right on the lake, very quiet and pretty. The lunch at Pomona was delicious and the mead and wine tasting was very good. Highly recommend this tour and tour company and Joel himself, all excellent.

Fantastic well organised tour. Great overview of many different areas with informative and knowledgeable background details. You get to see some spectacular hidden gems which you may not otherwise discover. Joel was an amazing tour guide, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. He clearly wants to make sure his guests have a great time and we did. The food and drink offerings on this tour were of a very high standard and you won’t be disappointed. Everything was local, fresh and delicious. You also get to meet the owners/operators and they are all so passionate about what they do, which makes for a great experience. Highly recommend doing this tour with Joel, you will have a great time and you just need to sit back and enjoy the day, Joel takes care of everything. Five star service all day.
