Join us and enjoy a wonderful morning in the interior of Guipuzcoa. Oñati recently named one of the best towns in the world for tourism according to the world tourism organization will leave you impressed with its offer. Sancti Spiritus University is one of the most important attractions of Oñati, but it is not the only one, the church of San Miguel, the Bidaurreta monastery, the Plaza de los Fueros, the Plaza de Santa Marina or the palaces of Antia, Madinabeitia and Baruekua. Next we will visit the Aranzazu sanctuary. According to legend, the Virgin appeared to a shepherd named Rodrigo de Balzategi on a thorn tree and he, astonished, asked him: "Arantzan zu?" (You on a thorn tree?). During the following centuries the Franciscan friars made Arantzazu a place of devotion and pilgrimage, and an exponent of art and culture. The tour will be conducted in bilingual (English and Spanish) so that our guides will speak both languages simultaneously.

We had an excellent tour guide, Joao was on time picking us up at the hotel, we had the time we needed at every location. He was very knowledgeable of the area and the towns. This was an amazing religious experience of the Basque country. The rain didn't stopped us from enjoying the tour.

I cannot speak higher of Donostyle Tours. We planned a spur of the moment trip to San Sebastian and had no idea of an itinerary. We took a tour of the Ignitian Way with Donostyle and to our surprise we got two tour guides from Alex and Telmo. They were amazing! We had such a good time with both of them that we wanted to see them the rest of the trip! We booked three more tours because we just enjoyed being with them so much. I was with my brother and elderly parents and they made sure we felt like family. They are absolutely wonderful and make sure to make your stay incredible. I will be back for sure! Ask for Alex and Telmo when you take a tour. All the tours are great so you can't go wrong. Thank you DONOSTYLE TOURS for making our trip so special.

We toured San Telmo, Loyola and Aranzazu. This was an incredible tour. The story of St Ignatius Loyola along with the opportunity to visit the place of his conversion made for a very moving religious experience. Ignatius found God waiting for him in the pages of the books he read while he recovered from his war injuries. Our guide, Josu was great! He was very knowledgeable about all 3 places we visited. He also gave us time for prayer and meditation in the sacred places. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about these Basque Christian sites. Thank you to Josu for one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. You won’t be disappointed if you book this tour.
