Spectacular views, paradise beaches, calypso music, culture and history-straight from a postcard. During our Island Beach Tour enjoy driving around and exploring the tranquil views, white sands and turquoise jewel-colored water. Magnificent Island views from Mountain Top (2,100 ft. above sea level) while sipping banana daiquiris, along with duty-free shopping of jewelry, T-shirts, spirits, and souvenirs. Witness the natural beauty from Skyline Drive Lookout and Drake’s Seat of fringe rolling hills, Magen’s Bay Beach and other Caribbean islands. Historical landmark, Fort Christian, for historical highlights of the oldest standing structure in the USVI. This is a shared tour. Admissions NOT included in the tour price. Itinerary

Fort Christian

Fort Christian is a Dano-Norwegian-built fort in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Built 1672-1680, early in the first successful colonial establishment on the island, the fort served as a critical point of defense and government during the entire period of Dano-Norwegian, and later Danish, administration, which ended in 1917 with the sale of the islands to the United States. It currently holds the St. Thomas Museum, which holds artifacts and art of the Dano-Norwegian period. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1977. You can admire the beauty from the exterior or enter this fort museum to experience the history of the Fort. Admissions are not included in tour price. Skyline Drive

Skyline Drive Overlook offers a panoramic harbor view including Charlotte Amalie, Hassel Island, Water Island and more! You will be able to take pictures and indulge in this popular view site. It is a popular spot, so bring your camera.

Drake's Seat

St. Thomas is mountainous and offers beautiful views. The most popular lookouts are Drakes Seat and Skyline Drive Overlook. Drake’s Seat was built in 1933 by Arthur Fairchild. In those days navigating the hills of St. Thomas involved traveling by horse or foot. He thought the spot where he put Drake’s Seat was a nice place for a rest. You too can take a break and enjoy the fabulous view from the famous seat!

Mountain Top

The overlook is located atop St. Peter Mountain–the island’s highest point–and has a vista of Magens Bay that rivals Drake’s Seat’s due to the higher elevation, which allows for a view of even more surrounding islands, including the British Virgin Islands. Visitors will find much more than just a great view at Mountain Top, however. The attraction is a good place to purchase souvenirs, clothes, and other gift items. Mountain Top is also famous for its signature drink, the banana daiquiri, which is made with a variety of flavors of local Cruzan Rum.

Magens Bay

Magens Bay Beach is known to be one of the top beaches to visit in the world, making it #6 for 2019. You will not be disappointed! Located on the North (Atlantic) side of the island, Magens Bay (Estate Zufriedenheit) features a well-protected white sand beach stretching for nearly three quarters of a mile. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the island, as well as a gathering place for locals. The beach sits at the head of a deep bay, the arms of which are Peterborg peninsula to the east and Tropaco Point to the west. The bay's northwest exposure means its waters are usually calm, although storms in the North Atlantic can occasionally generate large waves in the winter months. The sandy bottom means snorkeling is of limited interest, although turtles, conch, tarpon and other fish are commonly spotted. After the Scenic Tour of sightseeing at Mountain Top, Drakes Seat and the Skyline Lookout, you will visit Magens Bay Beach or any beach on island of choice. We will then pick you up from the beach at your preferred time and get you back to your final destination on time. Beach time can vary, just let your driver know. Admissions are not included in tour price. Magens Bay beach entrance fees are $5 per adult and kids under 12 are free.
